Introducing Barstow Chiropractor Dr. Scott Martin

Barstow, California chiropractor, [DOCTORSNAME

"I was a chiropractic patient long before I became a doctor of chiropractic.  I first experienced the benefits of chiropractic care after I injured my back while playing on the Barstow High School tennis team. Several years later while working as a ski instructor in Big Bear,  I again learned that nothing else I tried worked as well as chiropractic care for my back problem and athletic performance. I knew then that I wanted to be a doctor of chiropractic, and help others like myself enjoy a higher quality of life with chiropractic care."

Dr. Martin's proudest professional achievements have been as 4 Time Winner of the San Bernardino Sun Newspapers county wide survey as Best Chiropractor in San Bernardino County and becoming the first and only Doctor of Chiropractic invited to sit on the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.

Dr. Martin studied his pre-chiropractic education at the University of Redlands and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and was awarded entry to the National Deans List, recognizing outstanding college students in America.  After completing his undergraduate studies, he was accepted at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.  During his 4 years at LACC, courses included Pathology, Anatomy, Physiology, X-Ray Physics, Diagnosis with special emphasis on Neurology and Chiropractic Technique.  After graduation in 1989, he received a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.  Dr. Martin passed both national and state boards scoring 100% in chiropractic technique and 97% in clinical competency.

Dr. Martin began his career practicing Chiropractic at the Back Pain Center in Long Beach.  For four years he practiced with Dr. Gregory Judd, one of the most respected doctors in the profession.  In 1993, Dr. Martin decided he wanted to bring the highest quality of chiropractic care back to his home town and established Martin Chiropractic in Barstow.  Dr. Martin is very active in the community.  For five years, he volunteered as the team doctor for Barstow High School football and continues to perform sports physicals for all local schools.

You may have heard one of Dr. Martin's FREE community service workshops at BNSF, Wal Mart, Raytheon, City of Barstow, CHP, Valley Lumbar, Barstow Senior Center, etc...
